Training That Prepares You to Make a Difference Every Day
Through the Support for Assistive Services in Health and Social Services Institutions – 5905 DVS program at CDI College, students develop the technical, interpersonal, and professional skills needed to work as Patient Service Associates (PSAs) and Health and Social Services Assistants (HSSAs).
Guided by experienced instructors, students learn how to:
- provide care and assistance to people of all ages who require support;
- promote patients' comfort, safety, and independence;
- communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare teams; and
- provide compassionate, respectful, and professional care in a variety of healthcare settings.
Through practical, hands-on training, students develop the knowledge and experience needed to enter the healthcare workforce while strengthening the personal qualities that make exceptional caregivers.
