World Humanitarian Day - Aug-19-2020
World Humanitarian Day (WHD) is held every year on 19 August to pay tribute to aid workers who risk their lives in humanitarian service, and to rally support for people affected by crises around the world.
As World Humanitarian Day this year comes amid the global coronavirus pandemic, the World Health Organization has a global campaign that celebrates #RealLifeHeroes, who have "committed their lives to helping others."
