Mississauga, ON – June 1, 2012 – CDI College is teaming up with Vianney Academy of Learning to help raise funds and awareness for children with learning disabilities and mental illness. Along with donating the funds to cover the cost of supplies for the Bread and Honey Festival fundraiser, volunteers from the Mississauga campus will be selling bottled water at the festival on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 10:00am-5:00pm.
Vianney Academy of Learning is a new non-profit, independent learning centre in Mississauga that is dedicated to helping children overcome learning disabilities and mental illness in order to reach their full potential. As a non-profit, the organization relies on sponsorships and donations to serve the needs of children in the community. For officials at CDI College, the sponsorship was a perfect match.
“As an education provider, CDI College strives to be involved in every community we serve across the country,” says Larry Heinzlmeir, CDI College’s Vice President of Marketing. “Vianney Academy of Learning does some very important work. Through this sponsorship, we’re not only helping them to achieve their goals, we’re also furthering our mission to change lives through education.”
CDI College Volunteers will be selling water at the Bread and Honey Festival on Saturday, June 2nd from 10:00am to 5:00pm. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward covering the costs of a full-time tutor to serve the needs of the organization’s students. Stop by one of the stations inside the community centre or outside of the main gates for an ice-cold drink and support a great cause.
