North York, ON – October 2, 2014 – CDI College’s North York campus will be introducing a new Esthetics program to the school this fall.

From anatomy to postural mechanics to bacteriology, students who enroll in CDI College’s Esthetics program will learn the ins and outs of the human body in regards to the field’s needs.

Esthetics is more than just physical beauty, it’s also about inner tranquility. Our program instructors educate students on the fundamentals of the body and facial characteristics but also on what is required when it comes to helping their clients acquire inner peace via therapeutic treatments.

Our courses are designed to teach and train students on the essentials related to the spa industry in North America. Courses include nail care; hair removal; facial, massage, and spa therapy; electrotherapy; salon and spa management, and more.

To make a seamless transition from classroom to spa, the program includes over 400 hours of hands-on training in labs and a job shadow placement at the end where students will practice and apply the techniques they have learned and use them in a clinic treating real patients.
