Winnipeg, MB – April 19, 2017 - CDI College is now offering the Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program at our Winnipeg campus! Students learn to work with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to aid in the recovery of patients, getting extensive hands-on training from experienced and knowledgeable instructors.  

The program covers bio-chemistry, body mechanics and systems, anatomy and physiology, therapeutic exercise, and the use of advanced technological equipment. Students also learn skills like CPR, First Aid, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - skills they will be able to take with them from the classroom to the real world. A practicum placement in the field is included in the program which means they’ll be job-ready sooner and better equipped to make the transition into to the workplace.  

Rehabilitation Therapy Assistants are in-demand, working in a variety of healthcare and community settings, including clinics, hospitals, and rehabilitation centres across the country.
