Victoria, BC – April 11, 2013 – CDI College in Victoria will be hosting an Information Session about its Pharmacy Assistant program on April 18, 2013 from 6:00-7:00pm. Check in is at 5:30pm sharp.
At the Information Session, attendees will learn what to expect from a pharmacy assistant career and why pharmacy assistants are currently in demand. They’ll learn about CDI College’s Pharmacy Assistant curriculum and how it prepares graduates to enter the field with the confidence they need to impress employers. They’ll also have the opportunity to tour the campus and meet with the pharmacy faculty who will help them through their program.
Pharmacy assistants work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring that patients receive the right medication, instruction and care. Pharmacy assistants help to keep today’s modern pharmacies running smoothly and are invaluable healthcare members.
In just 30 weeks, students in the Pharmacy Assistant program cover pharmacy billing, medical language, prescription transcription and everything else they need to work in community pharmacies, drug stores, hospitals and more.
Pharmacy Assistant students also spend time working in a real pharmacy before graduation to test their new skills and network with potential employers.
