Abbotsford, BC - April 21, 2011 – CDI College is launching the Law Enforcement Foundations program at its Abbotsford campus. Classes start June 2011.

The Law Enforcement Foundations diploma program provides the training that will help students to find career opportunities in Provincial or Federal regulatory bodies, in private security firms, security or safety teams and more. The program may also be a useful preparatory training for other law enforcement careers.

During the Law Enforcement Foundations program, students will be taught criminology and human behaviour, psychology, Canadian government and politics. They also learn investigation techniques, conflict resolutionand mediation and gain valuable field experience.

The program also includes a practicum that allows students to gain hands-on experience in a real job setting. Graduates will be prepared to find employment in a wide variety of workplaces.
