Abbotsford, BC – March 30, 2011 - Students and faculty in the Addictions and Community Services Worker program are sharing their specialized knowledge with their community. Join them at the Abbotsford campus on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 9:00am-1:30pm to learn about the dynamic nature of this career field and the addictions resources available in the Fraser Valley. Check in is at 8:30am.
Addictions and Community Service Worker students will host several seminars on a range of topics throughout the day. Attendees will get a glimpse into the knowledge and skills that professionals in this line of work must possess in order to make a positive impact on their clients’ lives.

The process of relapse prevention
Community services and other resources in the Fraser Valley
Surviving co-dependency and more
