We will be holding a food drive from December 1 to December 31, 2020, with all donations going to the Red Deer Food Bank. To help a family in need, please bring non-perishable food items to the Red Deer campus for donation.

December marks the start of the Christmas season! Be sure to take some time to call your family and friends, and take a walk down to see Red Deer's beautiful City Hall light display. Merry Christmas from all the staff at Red Deer campus!

Christmas Recipe - Homemade Hot Chocolate
There's nothing quite like a hot cup of old-fashioned hot chocolate to get you in the holiday spirit!
Ingredients:
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
-1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Over medium/low heat, add the milk, cocoa powder, and sugar to a small saucepan. Whisk frequently. Add chocolate chips and whisk until melted. Add vanilla extract. Serve immediately! Makes 4 servings.
